There were a total of 450 copies printed, 300 in wraps & 150 in cloth hardcover, both printed 1969 by Black Sparrow Press. This is one of the 300 copies in decorated sewn wraps. Cover illustration by Larry Rivers. A single poem which first appeared in "Poetry" (Chicago) magazine. From colophon page: "Designed and printed by Saul and Lillian Marks at the Plantin Press, Los Angeles in February 1969 for the Black Sparrow Press". Title page printed in black & brown. Hand-sewn printed wraps with foldover French flaps. A nice clean softcover copy. 9pp. Scarce signed copy.

Larry Rivers illustrated the cover; Saul and Lillian Marks designed the book which has 4 small reddish illustrations (not by Rivers) within the text. Edges of oversize wraps are slightly creased, tiny chips at top and bottom of sewn spine. Very very mildly soiled. Interior pages are clean, tight. A slim book, ~ 6 1/2" x 10".
