No jacket, as issued. 8vo (6.5 x 9 inches) Tan .leather with 22 karat gold decoration and gilded text block edges (all three sides); raised spine hubs; sewn-in ribbon marker; high-quality paper; silk moire fabric endpapers; sewn pages for strength and durability.All of these elements are in very good condition. The late Kurt Vonnegut's signature is on a special second page, followed by an intro written by him for this edition. Spine gilt is a bit dim from human hands holding the book. Gilt on text block is unblemished. Corners and pages are good. Alan Cober contributes a number of evocative sketch-drawings in b&w. Franklin editions are well-crafted and continue to hold their allure through the years.This title, of course, is a classic.
