The marvelous color-illustrated front endpapers have been preserved, though the original rear endpapers have not. First state with six previous Baum titles (ending in "John Dough") opposite title page, and all 12 original color plates present and firmly attached within. From the author of "The Wizard of Oz." 288 pp., here reduced from $175.

Light shelf wear and a 1" cloth tear at the rear corner, remains Very Good only. The contents include 12 fine color plates. The interior is unmarked but with occasional light spotting. A single 1" scuff is at the front inner hinge however the binding remains tight. Still a nice copy.
