Sections devoted to each of the characters with b&w drawings, notes and a colour tipped-in drawing of the characters (about 8x5.5in in size). 12 colour tipped-in illustrations with tissue guards. Description: Unpaginated. The title to the title page simply reads Sketch Book Walt Disney - the full title comes of the jacket. This copy is missing the jacket. A very good minus copy. 12 lovely tissue-guarded colour plates. No inscriptions. Some notable toning (sunning?) to the cloth spine and to a couple of peripheries of each board. Some mottling to the spine edge of the original publisher's cloth and to the head of the front board. Some spotting to the pages - not heavy and mostly to the head. The tissue-guards and the colour plates (tipped-in) all remain in super condition. A very good minus copy of a Walt Disney Classic.

Description: 1st Edition. 23.8 x29.7 cm oatmeal cloth boards with black titles to the front. Pictorial endpapers, unpaginated with 12 tipped in coloured plates each with captioned tissue guards. The book comes in its original unclipped dust jacket priced at 15/- net. A lovely copy, with just a hint of toning to small areas of the spine matching loss to the jacket. Internally clean, without name, inscription or bookplate. All the plates and there captioned tissue-guards are in excellent condition and there are one or two very light handling marks only. The dust jacket, which is now protected in a removable, clear cover (not shown), is dust stained with rubbing to the edges. It has losses to the spine of 2cm at the head, 1.5cm in the middle and a smaller 3mm chip at the foot. There is minor loss to the corners and a closed tear of 4cm on the top edge of the front panel. There are also three further closed tears of 1-1.5 cm on the edges. All in all an excellent first edition copy of this book that was not published in the USA until 55 years later. Description: The sketches for the film "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" Unpaginated. 12 colour plates tipped in on brown background leaves, individually protected with titled tissue paper. Black and white sketches throughout.Original wheat buckram with black lettering. The book has a series of minor faults: There is a tiny biro mark on the tail of front board; the boards have lightly lifted; The pages are lightly bumped at the tail; Snow White's tissue paper has a short closed, tear at the tail; The hinge on the page with the 'Happy' sketches is cracked, though the binding remains solid. The thin end of the cardboard backing for Mr. Bashful has a small tear and the tissue paper protecting Mr. Bashful has a light crease near the middle.; Under the coloured print of Mr. Bashful and again Dopey there is a very faint pencil shadow of a B and D a respectively.; The lower inner edge at the tail of the last of Dopey sketches has a short, small tear and directly opposite, the protective tissue has minute loss; Beginning with the sketch of the witch through to the raven sketch, 4 pages, there is a pinprick bump towards the middle of the page.;The second page with sketches of the Prince has short, closed tear at the tail.; Apart from the pinprick, they are very, very minor imperfections and the book remains a clean, unmarked and solid copy, with very sharp coloured prints.
