Description: Hardcover without DJ. Dark blue cloth over boards with gold lettering on spine. Rubbing at crown and foot of spine, spine slightly discolored, back cover is speckled with a few small white spots. Spine is very slightly cocked, but binding is still tight. Title page is dated 1929. Copyright is dated 1929. 222 pages. Pages are toned from age. Fore-edge and bottom edge are untrimmed. Faint stain along inner seam of a number of pages, half-title page seam has some darkening from what appears to be pencil lead. Signed and inscribed by the author in blue ink in the top right corner of the first blank page, "With sincere regard, William H. Rowe," dated December 14, 1929. This page also features an inscription in blue ink from a previous owner, "To R.B. Rideout, from J. Paul Rideout, 1928." Overall a nice copy.
