Condition: Near Fine

Description: First American Edition. Review copy with slip. Cream-colored, linen like boards with W.H.A. in gilt on the front cover. Spine finish is a taupe quarter binding with gilt letter. This book is in great shape except faint pencil price and initials on the top FEP by prior bookseller and the a pencil letter "M" on the rear end paper. Also, there is a small hole in the seam between the front cover and FEP. The overall defect is smaller than an eraser head with the hole being even smaller. This hole appears to be a defect in manufacturing as there are no pencil or pen marks. The DJ is in great shape with price intact. There is one line mark about 1" or so long that runs parallel the "N" in the author's name on the front cover. The DJ has a mylar cover. Text pages, end pages and fore edge is clean. Top of text pages are colored a red hue as manufactured. Review slip with $4.95 printed price and review slip date of 01-31-1969 with words "Random House would kindly appreciate two copies of your review"
