Description: Scarce. Pages are internally clean, lightly tanned from age, with previous owner's signature on front pastedown. Pastedowns and ffeps are faded at edges. Binding is somewhat loosened, especially to back cover. Boards are square and clean, slightly edgeworn. Black and red DJ has some chipping, plus fading to spine; somewhat sun faded, else tight and bright; in mylar wraps to prevent further damage. A nice, square copy, despite its age. KRM/Lit Crit

Description: First edition. Corners slightly bumped and rubbed, still about fine in an attractive, very good plus dustwrapper with slight loss at the spine ends. The stiff paper of the jacket is usually quite brittle, this is a nicer than usual copy. Criticism and discussion from a respected author, among his topics are Sinclair Lewis, Sherwood Anderson, Charlie Chaplin, Fanny Brice, Eugene O'Neill, and Alfred Stieglitz.
