Description: Lightly soiled and significantly browned decorated paper boards, slightly rubbed on two top front corners; verdigree spine, with black label lettered in gilt and golden cockerel near base, in similar condition plus some dabs of white paint down front hinge. Top edge tipped in gilt and other edges deckled; fore edge foxed. Internally offsetting to endpapers; the black illustrations tend to offset slightly onto the opposite pages; otherwise contents clean, tight and unmarked. Size: 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall
