Original brick color cloth, bump to lower corner, some darkening to background of title on spine, normal uniform toning to paper. About a half dozen leaves near center of book have some creasing along the outer edge of text block. Overall, very good copy with no other markings and no bookplate. Lacking dust jacket. In addition to the script itself, several of the principles have contributed short essays including actors Shearer, Leslie Howard and John Barrymore, director George Cukor, adaptor Talbot Jennings, designer Cedric Gibbons, costume designer Adrian, costumer Oliver Messel and an essay by Max J. Herzberg on the play which was originally sold as a separate booklet about the play. 290 pages.
