INTERNET INFO REVEALED THAT: "IRVING E. PHILLEO Mr. Philleo, a lifetime resident of this community, died at his home April 21, 1935 at age of 75. He was the eldest son of one of the earliest pioneer families. His father's picture - H. B. Philleo - is shown on page 29 Mr. Philleo was born in the then town of Grand Rapids Feby. 11, 1860. He attended the local schools and early entered the news paper business with his father. When J. D. Witter opened the Bank of Centralia in 1887 Mr. Philleo was selected as its first cashier. In 1900 he was engaged by the Kellogg Bros Lumber Co from whose employ he retired after 32 years employment, Mr. Philleo retired because of ill health about three years ago. He was active member of both the Masonic and Elks Lodges. Funeral services were conducted by the Masonic order. Mr. Philleo was married to Minnie Spafford Feby 11, 1885. Miss Spafford was also a member of one of the earliest pioneer families. Mrs. Philleo died March 29, 1929. Surviving Mr. Philleo is the only daughter Mrs. Otto Labus."
