Stated second edition on copyright page. Very Good to Very Good-; all edges and corners lightly worn and/or rounded, lower right corner creased, interior pages lightly tanning, traces of staining on page edges. One corner of nameplate delaminating and upturned. Binding is solid. A complete but visibly lightly worn copy. VG copy, though small tape stain to to edge of the title label on the frontcover and neat (very faded) pen writing to spine indicating this is ÔRiprapÕ by ÔGary SnyderÕ.

Description: Tan wrappers, sewn. Printed paper label on front cover. Light edge wear, a clean very good copy. This copy belonged to Canadian Jazz Musician and Professor R.H. Grooms, who has written on the title page indicating that he received the book from Gary Snyder in Kyoto in 1961, while visiting him at his farm house with Alan Watts. Included is a copy of Watts' book The Wisdom of Insecurity (Pantheon, 1951, Ninth Printing) in a faded dust jacket, with a note inside by R.H. Grooms stating that he met Watts in Kyoto. An interesting association copy, but not signed by Gary Snyder.
