Description: Fair condition. Original 1916 format with light gray cover and full size orange paper paste-on with illustration of boy and king on goat, sailboat endpapers, black lettering and goat's head on spine, 314pp, all b&w illustrations therefore post-1935 printing; no dust jacket. CONDITION. Cover illustration almost like new. Cloth cover worn though almost the entire length of rear edge of spine, about 3 inches along front edge of spine; outer corners and lower edges a little worn. Endpapers split at hinges but covers held a little loosely. Child's name in pen on the "This book belongs to" page otherwise no marks or writing.

Front flap has four paragraphs about Rinkitink in Oz. Back flap lists to 31 The Silver Princess in Oz. Dust jacket is in a protective cover. Book has dark green linen covered boards with a pastedown on the front and black lettering on the spine. Top two board corners have a tiny bump. Light bumping on the spine ends. No wear on the pastedown. Spine is tight and square. Hinges are intact. Pages are clean and crisp. No writing inside. No funky smells.
