Description: A clean and crisp hardback first edition, but lacking the dust jacket. The boards are clean and sharp, but there is a tiny nick on the bottom edge of the upper cover. There is a large oblong of tanning to both the front and rear free endpapers (I have pictured the example at the beginning of the book), and there are a few small blemishes on the half title page (please see image). There is also the shadow of a tiny pencilled inscription on the rear free endpaper. The binding is secure and the contents are clean and complete. Overall, a very good hardback first edition without a dust jacket.
