Description: 1st 1887. Good condition. Small, oblong format. Cardwraps held together with a silk ribbon. 4 colour plates. Covers are grubby. Silk ribbon has been replaced with silver paper(?). Some grubby marks inside covers but plates still bright and clean. Packaged with care and promptly dispatched!

Description: First edition 1887. Full page colour plates engraved and printed in colours by Edmund Evans. All edges gilt. Front endpapers unevenly yellowed. Some very light foxing throughout. Publishers pictorial coloured card wrappers slightly foxed marked and dusty, with publishers pale blue silk ribbon ties. Still a very good copy for its ephemeral nature. Oblong format. Scarce.

FIRST EDITION [Schuster & Engen 166]. Oblong 8vo - 3-7/8" x 8-1/2". AEG. Original cream colored, morocco-textured heavy weight paper, color pictorial wrappers with white silk ribbon tie through two holes at spine; front cover with title printed in red and white with a picture of a girl and boy dancing, enclosed within a circle, printed in colors; back cover with words and music to "God Save Our Gracious Queen", printed in brown; moderate spotting to front cover, light spotting to back cover, light creasing to front cover and first two leaves for what is a very nice copy of the book. Cream colored endpapers. [4] pp., [4] leaves of plates. The book is illustrated by Greenaway with four full page full colored processional illustrations, each with a caption and two lines of verse relating to the Queen's birth, coronation, marriage and jubilee. The condition of the book is VERY GOOD. SCARCE
