Condition: Good

Description: Large hardcover. Purple cloth over boards. Elaborate decoration and gold stamping on the front cover and spine -- don't you just love Hugh Thomson? Unfortunately this well-loved volume does have some shelf wear and bumping to corners, but the only thing that's really important for us to note is a tear in the cloth at the bottom of the front joint. Ask for pictures, if you'd like. Heavy foxing to endpapers -- not much of a problem anywhere else. No date on title page. Copyright page dated 1901. 197 pages. Color frontispiece and color illustrations throughout. A very good copy overall. This volume comes from a small, careful collection of decorative and signed bindings. Please inquire to see the full list.
