Description: Green cloth; the spine and front board have mountain scene in gilt, black, and blue. 428 pages; color frontispiece. Ends of spine strip are frayed. Top end of joints are rejoined with cloth tape on the reverse side. Corners of boards are threadbare. The textblock sets low between the boards. The front endpaper is cracked over the hinge. The text block ends have darkened. Some of the pages have fingerprint soiling in the margins.
