Description: Charles Scribner's Sons, 1990. Third printing of the first publisher's edition of this first of the Kay Scarpetta series. Dust wrapper is unclipped. Number line to 3. Slightly cocked. Foot of the spine is well bumped. The interior of the dj has some staining at the foot, though that is beneath the trim on the acetate protective sleeve, and the crimping at the edge is also imperceptible, but it's noted by way of due diligence. There are no previous owner marks, the binding is very fresh, colors on the dj bright, a very nice copy.
