Boards are rubbed; bumped; marked and chipped, small tears to spine ends; a little bit of cloth has worn away on the corners. No inscriptions, pages tanned and foxed with some corner creasing and marks. All 21 illustrations and 2 maps in good condition, a little chipping to some page edges; binding firm. 250 pages plus 6 pages of adverts. Experiences of a private in the R.C.M.P. at Craig Harbour, Ellesmere Island 1922-23. Describes hunting for seals, bears and walrus, the animal life, sledge journeys and the weather.
