Description: Full calf, pretty gilt-stamped border and details on boards and spine, gilt-stamped lettering in burgundy leather spine labels, marbled endpapers. With 8 etched plates in Volume 1, and 1 etched plate in Volume 2, plus lovely decorations and illuminated initials in both. Boards bit rubbed and scratched; joints and spine tips scuffed and a little chipped; corners bumped. Some faint soiling on upper board of Volume 2. Text blocks lovely throughout -- bright, tight, and clean. Includes "Trivia, or, The Art of Walking the Streets of London," which never fails to please. A slightly worn (let's say, "loved"), and still attractive little set.
