Description: Spine very slightly darkened. With the ownership signature of Lord David Cecil, future Goldsmiths' Professor of English Literature at Oxford. Cecil was a devotee of Walter de la Mare, and an advocate for him; he introduced Private View, a collection of de la Mare's essays, in 1953, and the checklist to an exhibition of his books and manuscripts at the National Book League in 1956, and gave his presidential address for the English Association on de la Mare in 1973.

Description: Katherine Mansfield died in 1923. Her collection 'Poems' was published posthumously. Poems from 1909 to 1919 including Child verse from 1907. She was part of the Modernism. Considered to be one of the best short story writers in the 20th century. The book is solid and with clean pages. A few small splits between the pages. Some dirt on the edges of the pages. Some dirt on the front and back cover. We believe that the condition of the book is best described by the five attached photos.
