The vellum is lightly toned, there's a small circular blemish to the spine, but the book is virtually without wear. Combines four of Stevenson's most famous volumes of poetry. A lovely book which is pleasant to hold, printed boldly on fine, large paper making it a dream to both read and to view, and seemingly inexplicably underpriced when located.

Unusual in jacket. THE WRAPPER : The fragile wrapper on this copy is bright and complete. It is unclipped. The front and back panels are bright and unfaded, showing gentle overall soiling and slight rubbing to the edges and corners. The spine is sound. It is slightly scuffed and rubbed at the top and the bottom and shows tiny slithers of loss at either end. Looks sharp in protective plastic. THE BOOK : The book is tight. There are no previous ownership inscriptions. The vellum-like boards are sound and unfaded, showing insignificant soiling. The gilt on the boards is bright. There is a touch of trivial bruising to the spine ends. The text block is very clean. No foxing. The uncut closed page edges are slightly dulled with age. There are no loose or dog-eared pages. The binding is tight, the hinges are solid. A very nice copy in a protected wrapper. Paypal accepted. Please note that this is a heavy book, and postage will be a little more than that quoted by ABE.
