Description: Here it is, a true first printing with the dust jacket. This copy has an unusual provenance. It was stolen -- along with 31 other desirable first editions -- from the library in Murfreesburo, TN, and was among the evidence used in court after the books were recovered. As an ex-library book, it has had heavy use and a little bit of every fault. The value is in the dust jacket which has a nick to the top edge of back panel (archivally repaired) and a box-cutter slice to front panel (archivally repaired and not at first apparent). What initially looked to be a nearly perfect dust jacket unfortunately turned out to be less than that -- the back flap is separated from the back panel. This cannot be seen when the pieces are inside the mylar sleeve. We have cleaned the page edges. To be perfectly honest, it's a great looking copy if you don't open it, but the interior is heavily read. Author is winner of multiple awards including four Hugos.
