Description: Later edition, enlarged. In three parts, with Defoe's preface signed in letterpress: "D Foe"; the second and third parts have separate dated title-pages. 12mo. [2], 12, [2], 140pp. Contemporary mottled calf over boards. Contemporary owner's name in ink name on front free endpaper. Some darkening and modest wear to the edges of the boards, endpapers are modestly toned with some ink markings on back free endpaper, early light dampstain on text pages at the fore-edge and upper right corner margin, else a good or better copy overall. First published in 1684, with Defoe's preface first appearing in the 1706 edition. A scarce copy of the 1712 edition in the original calf binding. *OCLC* locates ten copies. *ESTC* N20028.
