Description: Children, art. Third edition stated, early printing of Rackham illustrated edition. Covers rubbed and worn, corners and spine ends bumped and frayed, rebacked with original spine laid down. Bookplate inside the front cover, gift inscription on the half title page. Re-cased with new endpapers to match card stock illustration pages. All illustrations gathered in the rear of the book with their printed tissue guards, not per book listing, except for frontis illustration, which is detached and lain in at the beginning of the book. Unusual but presentable.

Description: Peter Pan in Kensington Gardens by J. M. Barrie. With illustrations by Arthur Rackham. Published by Hodder & Stoughton in 1907. A Second Edition. Size: 25.5 x 19 x 5 cms. Page number:126 pages of narrative plus 50 illustrations. Hardcover. Brown cloth boards with gilt lettering and illustration. With 50 tipped in coloured illustrations, all present, plus two in black and white within the text. Condition: Very Good. The cover is damaged around the edges and along the spine. There is a slight weakness at the hinge opposite the frontispiece but the binding remains tight. The end block is grubby. The contents are clean however, and but for a bit of damage to the edges of a couple of pages at the beginning of the book, damage to some of the tissue guards in the second part of the book, and some light occasional foxing, quite fresh. A heavy book. It will require additional postage if sent outside the U.K.
