The fold-out map at p. 10 and the rear fold-out map show some wrinkling, with accompanying short tears and chipping at the edges, otherwise clean; binding is relaxed at some signatures, but remains secure; the ribbon pagemarker is faded at the top and nearly detached; the hard cover shows some rubbing around the spine edges and tapping at the free corners as well as gentle sunning at the spine, but the gilt lettering on the front cover and spine remains clear and bright; overall sound and attractive. Text unmarked. Text block slightly faded and bit of fraying to page markers. Bright red cloth covers are lightly worn around outer edges- a small bump marks rear spine edge. Binding secure. Scarcely found printed dust jacket is deeply toned with some light surface wear and very small chips/tears around the edges. Two dark spots mark spine and rear panel.
