Before each sketch is a facsimile leaf in Picasso's hand that dates its day of creation. And facing each sketch is a leaf of Picasso "scribbles" printed in red. This "section" has its own black ribbon fore-edge tie. Edition limited to 1000 numbered copies (this is #227). Dust jacket soiled, water stained, price clipped and chipped, with several closed tears. D. j. is not pretty but is 95% intact. Boards with old water stains and a tide mark on spine & rear cover. Internally, however, everything is clean.
