Description: Large, hardcover volume. Tan cloth boards with red and black lettering and ornament. Boards show slight shelf wear from age, but remain in Good condition. Binding has loosened over the years and cords are visible between some page, but volume remains whole and intact. Bountiful with black and white illustrations throughout. Title page dated 1886. Gift inscription on the front endpaper dated 1890. This is Pyle's first book. A handsome volume.
