Description: 308pp. A first edition copy (1887). 12 mo. Bound in red cloth with gilt embossed lettering to the front board and spine. Upper edges gilt. he boards have bevelled edges. There is some fading to the spine and there is a bump with an associated puncture mark to the cloth half way down the rear edge of the spine strip. One soil mark to the rear board. There is an area of rubbing to the reverse of the front end paper, from where a previous inscription has been erased. Light foxing to the front fore edges. Internally clean and tight. A good minus copy.
