Description: First Edition. Hardback. 8vo. Frontispiece by Picasso, 8.75 x 6, Original publisher's black cloth with gilt lettering on the fron, pp xi,43. LIMITED TO 100 NUMBERED COPIES (this number 74 of 100), SIGNED BY JEAN COCTEAU AND PICASSO. Cocteau has added the usual star to his signature. Two different bindings are known: black cloth and yellow cloth. "One Hundred Copies Have Been Printed on Basinwerk Paper." Translated by Carl Wildman who provides the preface. One illus apart from the frontis a b/w photo of Cocteau as Heurtebise. Very slight nicks at the very top of front and rear hinges, very slight rubbing else very good indeed with clean text.
