Description: First printing. Binding is solid with good color other than a section 1/4" x 1" top of the rear board that is a darker red. There is a crease across the spine and the gold letters on the spine are only slightly impaired. There is a London library stamp on the copyright page, the end papers are of bettr quality paper and may have been replaced. The first few pages have several specks of foxing and there are a number of finger tip size tan marks. Edges of the page block are age darkened. 2 small chips top and bottom of the spine of the jacket with an additional 1/8" triangular chip at the top and faint humidity triangles less than 3/4" tall at the bottom outside corners. There is just a trace of soiling to the jacket. This fragile jacket shows quite well. All jackets in mylar wraps.
