Description: Image size (landscape) 100 x 140 mm, 4 x 5½ inches, the drawing depicts an elderly schoolteacher, rod in hand, scolding a little girl standing before her holding a bunch of wild flowers. It appears in the book The Truants (1965) on page 77 for a poem entitled William and Susan. Fine condition in a large cream mount.
