Editio secunda ab auctore recognita' with the same imprint [the Meditationes and this covering title-page are not present] -- As to a 'first edition' Brunet explains that a collection planned for 1644 was not issued (Manuel du libraire 1861, t. 2, col. 609) -- The Opera philosophica were placed on the Index librorum prohibitorum with the phrase 'Donec corrig.
