Description: Very Good in a Good jacket, unclipped ($3.95), faded at the spine, chipped and torn at the edges. Half mustard buckram with brown paper on the boards. Bound with a red top stain, slight forward lean and some reading wear, former owner's name on the front endpaper. The collected World War II writings from Steinbeck's time as a war reporter in London, North Africa, Sicily, Italy, among other places.
