Description: 1951 printing on a 1937 copyright. (Harper's code K-A), and it's a lovely copy in outstanding jacket. Not price-clipped, no previous owner markings. Lots of illustrations by Helen Sewell. Remarkably clean, crisp, white pages throughout. Jacket in new mylar. Mild fading on cover in last picture is just that, fading and it's entirely cosmetic, not water damage. Great book.

Very scarce in this condition. Binding is tight, no cracks.

Book has a trivial spot on front cover; a light, if not very light 5/8 inch by 1/2 inch bump to upper fore-edge corner of front cover; and minor if not trivial wear to corners, edges, and head of spine. Age-toning to leaves. Dust jacket separated at spine and moderate, if not minor creasing to front and rear panels; a 5/16 inch chip to head of spine; a 3/4 inch by 3/8 inch chip to upper fore-edge corner of front panel; a 3/8 inch chip to heel of spine; and moderate, if not minor additional wear to corners, edges, spine and fore-edge folds. Only trivial additional signs of age/wear/previous use to book and dust jacket.
