Half-title mounted on stub, which indicates that it was replaced before distribution (typical for this title). Covers quite rubbed with light colored staining to spine (possibly from the binding glue), lettering legible, good hinges, sound but not tight text block, pages a little age-yellowed but clean (a couple of instances of very minor foxing to margins), no names or other markings. First Edition. Hard Cover. Fair. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.

Written by Ford Madox Ford under his real last name.

Description: First Edition (first printing). 8vo. 128pp. Blue cloth lettered in gold at the spine and upper board with a blind-stamped border. Cloth at the backstrip discoloured and with just a hint of tanning to the board margins. Some fox spotting to the [cancelled] half-title, title page and final few text leaves. A nice crisp copy. A six-page preface by the author precedes nineteen poems, most here making their first bookform appearance (a note by the author states that only five had been printed previously in periodicals, but the actual total is twice that). A very nice copy!
