A better than very good or better copy, the binding square and firm, the extremities a little rubbed, the foot of the spine with a short closed tear. The contents, with very faint offsetting to the endpapers, are otherwise clean throughout and without stamps or inscriptions. Complete with the lightly rubbed, nicked and creased original dustwrapper which is a little dusty and has a few short closed tears to the extremities. Not price-clipped (5s. to the both flaps). An unusual book featuring Rex Whistler's 'Reversible Faces' accompanied by his brother's humorous verse. The book can be read either way up, right down the the blurb on the dustwrapper flaps. Some offsetting to endpapers from flaps, a slight loss at tips of spine on wrapper and a light dustiness, contents fine and priced at 5/-. Square octavo. *1st edition and can be read either way up, two title pages front and back. Published posthumously as he was killed aiding his troops in 1944 after predicting his own death. He remains one of the great poster artists and British Modernist School artists.
