A near fine, very well preserved set, clean, fresh and unmarked but for the usual toning of the endpapers and a miniscule booksellers ticket at the rear pastedown. The spine labels show only two small chips on two volumes, the spare labels remain tipped to the rear pastedowns. The bindings are clean and remarkably free of all but the most minor soiling or wear.
