There is a mark to the side text block and some light foxing to the top text block. There is very minor wear to the top of the spine of the wrapper. Otherwise the wrapper and book are is near fine condition. It has all the first issue points. 2. The Subtle Knife (1997) a sharp copy with no or very little wear. Fine overall. 3. The Amber Spy Glass (2000) a fine copy without wear. Overall the set is in very near fine condition.  Pullman's award winning trilogy, about an alternate Oxford and the adventures of Lyra as she tries to find the truth about her friends disappearance and the meaning of a mysterious entity called dust. The first novel won the Carnegie medal and the cut out medal is displayed on the front panel, as is called for. The series was initially adapted to the big screen under the name 'The Golden Compass' to mixed reviews. And more recently by the BBC. Rare to find this first edition set in such nice condition.
