Description: 8vo., 192pp. Beautiful First Edition of the fifth James Bond book written by Gardner and by far the most uncommon. Square, tight and clean throughout with little or no wear. A few scattered spots on the top edge of the text block but quite minor. Very attractive unclipped dust-jacket, (£8.95 net), has a tiny closed tear at the crown. Some discoloration/rubbing to the photo of Gardner on the rear panel but some of it almost looks like a printing issue. Still fresh and bright with no chipping or creases. A sharp collectable copy of a difficult book to find in nice condition.
