Willeford, Charles. NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY. Newsstand Library, Chicago, 1962.

Price: US$250.00 + shipping

Condition: New

Description: First Printing, a paperback original. A Near Fine, unread copy with two hairline tears on the front cover and a few milimeters of paperloss at the upper left corner of the spine. The covers are glossy, edge staining is even, and no hint of a reading crease to be found. The scarcest of Willeford's titles published by this publisher. The original title was supposed to be Nothing Under the Sun. The in-house editor rewrote parts of this novel in what he presumed was a paperback jungle style (indeed, he got close enough) without Willeford's advance knowledge or subsequent approval. Willeford disclaimed this book, although he salvaged the work later by using it, with only slight rewriting, as the Pop Sinkiewicz half of Sideswipe.
