AS PRIVATELY PRINTED FOR JEROME KERN IN 1923, WITH AN INTRODUCTION BY CHRISTOPHER MORLEY, INCLUDING A FRONTISPIECE AFTER MAX BEERBOHM, WITH PREFACE AND BIBLIOGRAPHICAL NOTE WRITTEN ESPECIALLY FOR THIS EDITION. First edition thus, limited to 150 numbered copies. A fine copy. This text originally was published by Kern in 62 copies in 1923 from the original manuscript and meant for a Christmas book. Reprints the questions submitted and the answers given by Shaw to the interviewer Clarence Rook. The printed version of the interview first appeared in the Chicago periodical, the Chap-Book, in 1896. Number two in the Ellen Clarke Bertrand Library Limited Editions: Bucknell University. The book was set in Van Dijk and printed on a Vandercook No. 4. The edition was designed, hand set, and printed by Barbard Taylor and Arnaldo Lopez. The illustration was hand colored over a printed key block. Bound by Pam and Don Rash. The Press device was engraved by John DePol.
