Later Director of the Lister Institute of Preventive Medicine and Professor of Experimental Pathology in the University of London, Ashley Miles received a knighthood in 1966. The novel stars Uncle Oswald, a character who previously appeared in "The Visitor" and "Bitch", two short stories also written by Roald Dahl (both of which were published in Switch Bitch). Octavo.
