Spiral-bound with a white plastic spiral/ring spine, and black & white printed boards. Lacking the dustjacket (back flap with ad for Ansel Adams' book is still present in back of this copy). All corners of the covers show some wear, with a 2" crease across the lower right-hand corner of the front cover, tanning to plastic spine, some tan spotting to front flyleaf, titlepage, last (biographical) page; some dusting, rubbing to outer covers and edges; page edges/margins show a little age-related tanning, not affecting the photographic images. An acceptable (good) copy, not a collector's copy. Weight: 2 1/2 lbs.

Features interpretative text and information about the parks, monuments and photographic data. A very good plus copy in plastic spiral bound wrappers with a darkened area to the spiral and some other minor wear and in a poor dust jacket that was in parts and has large chips, tears and wear but has been put into mylar and looks presentable. Signed by Adams on the front free endpaper. Still, a solid copy of a book that is very often in poor condition.

Black and White glossy cardboard covers spiral bound. Minor edgewear to corners. Dust-Jacket is in fair condition but present in a milar cover. Chips to front DJ cover all around the edges with a larger chip missing from top left mostly taking out the "E & D" in Westons first name. The photo on the cover is mostly unaffected and the title at the bottom is present. There is no DJ spine. Rear DJ cover is all there except edge chips with NO LOSS of any text and photo's of Weston (Taken by Ansel Adams) and Dody (Taken by Rose Mandel). DJ Flaps present as well and protected by mylar cover. book is clean, complete, and tight with no other markings. A very bright and presentable copy.

Book has some minor wear to very tips of front corners, some very faint rubbing at back. otherwise an excellent copy, very clean and sharp, with a tightbinding and clean pages. Dust jacket has a half inch chip at top of spine, an inch closed tear across middle of spine, modest yellowing to spine and edges, small tear and modest wear at bottom of spine area, inch closed tears at front flap folds top and bottom. otherwise a very presentable jacket overrall. In publisher's original spiral-bound stiff white wraps printed in black. Near Fine or better with faint foxing to textblock edges, in a Near Fine dust jacket with a shallow chip at the head, several tears and some short splits started at the folds but on the whole an excellent example of the jacket, which usually turns up much worse for wear and this rare, especially in the original shipping box which is almost unheard of. Scarce find.
