Pen inscription to front free endpaper. Binding is noticeably loose but pages remain attached. Boards have minor corner bumping and edgewear with mild tanning and scuffing overall. Spine has heavier tanning with soft crushing to ends. Lettering remains bright and clear. Book has a slight forward lean.

Description: True first British printing with original unclipped jacket (30s/£1.50). Jacket has patchy edge/shelf wear, few small (approx. 5mms) tears, little patchy loss (mainly to head/tail of spine and to corners), few marks, little patchy browning, creasing/rubbing to edges, pushing/rubbing to head/tail of spine, pushing/bumping to corners, the odd small scratch/bump and is in only good condition. Boards are near fine (having been well protected by the jacket) with a hint of pushing to corners and minor pushing/rubbing to head/tail of spine. Pages are generally clean and the binding is tight. End-papers bit tanned. Top of pages slightly dusty with the odd small mark/minor foxing. Odd small mark/spot of foxing to page edges and bottoms. Pages little tanned. Very occasional small mark to pages. Small amount of paper overlap inside front board. No other faults. All books described honestly and accurately. Paypal accepted.
