Description: 6" x 8 1/8", 47 pp., illustrated endpapers, red cloth with black illustration and title to front board, black titling to spine. First Edition. A very rare Tasha Tudor title. In about Very Good, perhaps VG-, condition. See photo enlarged. The only deficiencies are a FO name written in upper right corner of the FFEP and an archival gutter repair between the front endpapers; otherwise an excellent copy with just moderate wear to the corners and spine ends (one small corner tip of the spine foot worn through underneath, the rest is just rubbing). Interior pages are quite nice and all illustrations by Tudor are bright and unmarked. "Mr. Stubbs, a feisty tomcat with a stub tail, lives on the Warner farm in New Hampshire and has many adventures while getting into lots of mischief. Watercolor illustrations, pencil illustrations by Tasha Tudor.

Description: Illustrated red cloth. Signed by the author and illustrator to the title page, below their names. To the first page of text, in the upper margin, Tudor has inscribed the book and she also included a small sketch of Stubbs, the cat. Minor bumps to a couple of corners, minor wear to the lower spine end. The dust jacket has wear about the edges, several small tears. Small chips to the corners and spine ends. A few spots of surface insect damage to the front. Original price of $2.50 to the front flap. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; Signed by Author
