Although undated, a mid-1920s signature. as Frost spent two years in Ann Arbor, beginning in 1924, after receiving an appointment with the title Fellow in Letters at the University of Michigan. Lacking the scarce dust jacket, the front panel of which is laid in, the book is Very Good, small hole to cloth near bottom of spine, gilt at bottom of spine dulled, minor rubs at corners of boards, period Ann Arbor book store label rear paste down. Frontispiece portrait with tissue-guard of Frost from a plaster cast by Aroldo Du Chene. His third published collection of poetry, which includes the poems "The Road Not Taken," "Christmas Trees," "In the Home Stretch," "Birches," "Snow," and "The Bonfire," among many others.
