Original publisher's brown boards letterd black on cover over unlettered faun cloth spine. Faint surface wear, slight rubbing, erased name on pastedown, prelims very slightly foxed else decent VG copy with clean text. and tipped in photos in excellent shape. Photobook.

Fraying to the board corners. Few small stains to the rear board. Scattered light foxing to the fore edges. . Moderate foxing to the title page, dedication page, and list of portraits. Scattered light foxing to the pages nine through 23 which is all text. Scattered light foxing to the rear endpaper. There is lighter foxing throughout the remaining pages, light foxing around most photograph borders and some faint foxing to 9 of the photographs. Not terribly obtrusive. Threading visible in between some of the pages. Binding and hinges sound. All pages intact. All in all a very good clean copy of a rare item. Coburn was a modern master of photography famed for his portraits Scarce.
