Smith "Here is the little book, I hope you will accept it in remembrance of you kindness to me at the Spa Hotel.Mr Langdon Coburn's photographs are quite lovely. He is a very great artist.".

Description: First edition. Introduction by Lady Ebury. Small quarto. 55pp. Illustrated with 20 tipped-in mezzogravure photographic plates by Alvin Langdon. Printed gray-green paper-covered boards. Contains a brief essay on Moor Park by Sir William Temple. The binding is a bit rubbed, with moderate wear at spine tips and corners, small ink mark on front cover, else a near fine copy, with the text and plates bright and fresh. Nicely printed at the Chiswick Press.
