Pictorial dust jacket with ads for other titles to verso (heavy wear to edges, with tears at corners and spine ends with minute loss, creases, soiling, toning, still, front image of Barrymore bright and attractive, good or better). Images from The Sea Beast released in 1926. In 1930 Barrymore would star in Moby Dick.

Description: First thus of the photoplay edition, with photos from the talking picture starring John Barrymore. Picture of Barrymore wielding a harpoon on front of jacket. Scarce. Very good in green cloth boards with some wear and fading, and a small damp stain to corner of back board. Good only jacket with some chipping to edges and a chunk missing from the spine, which affects most of Melville's name.
