Description: 8 1/8 in. wide. 28 pages; 13 full page illustrations; 5 small illustrations. 10 of the illustrations are bluetone; 8 are redtone. The cover and the DJ have the title as Walt Disney's Boat Builders and have the same illustrations, which are full color. The characters are M. Mouse, D. Duck, Goofy, C. Cow, Minnie Mouse, and the Three Little Pigs. Red endpapers with illustrations in black. Cover: Faint shelf wear soiling; front board has a 1/4 in. scrape (in sand background), and the bottom corner has a 2 in. x 1/2 in. area of lt. gray stains; the ends of the spine fold are softened and a little rubbed; occasional, small rubbed spots on the edges. Pages are lightly tanned. The title page has an owner's name and a handwritten date of Dec. 25, 1938. DJ: The flaps have blurbs for four book titles, including this one as Mickey Mouse the Boat-Builder; faint shelf wear soiling; the spine's fold has a crease line; a 4 in. crease line is on the front flap; a 3 in. crease line is along the bottom edge of the back panel; two 2 in. crease lines are along the top edge of the front panel; the back panel has two 3 in. bend lines; the flaps' folds are rubbed; five 1/4 in. closed tears; a 3/8 in. closed tear; two 1/4 in. chips. Boards bright, wear to lower tips, slight rubbing to extremities and endpapers, contents toned, illustrations still bright. A very good copy indeed, in very good dust jacket, unclipped, slightly creased and nicked, small chip to rear panel, a few closed tears with tape repairs to verso, overall an attractive and bright example.
